Occurrence: Lebanon, Carters, Hermitage, Bigby, Cannon, Catheys, Leipers
Reference: Wilson, 1949; Riding, 2004
Previously thought to be a red alga, Solenopora has been reinterpreted by Riding (2004) as a chaetetid sponge
