Occurrence: Waynesville
Reference: Foerste, 1916; Pojeta, 1971; Frey, 1987
Originally Modiolopsis pholadiformis. Includes Pholadomorpha divaricata (Hall and Whitfield, 1875), originally called Sedgwickia? divaricata and also called Pholadomorpha pholadiformis divaricata. Includes Modiolopsis capax Miller 1889, Modiolopsis corrugata Miller 1892, and Modiolopsis sulcata Miller and Faber 1892.
