Species

Ceramophylla alternatum (James, 1878)
Occurrence: Clays Ferry, Southgate, McMicken
Reference: Bassler, 1906; Karklins, 1984
Originally named Coeloclema alternatum, and also called Monticulipora (Fistulipora) alternata. Includes Ceramophylla vaupeli, Coeloclema vaupeli, Diamesopora trentonensis, Diamesopora vaupeli, Ceramopora alternata
Has hollow, slender branches, with oval zooecia in diagonally intersecting rows, thick walls, and prominent lunaria.
