Calloporella

The status of this species (and the genus Calloporella) in the type Cincinnatian is uncertain. I have been unable to find any modern reference to it.

Species

Calloporella circularis (James, 1882)
Occurrence: Waynesville
Reference: Bassler, 1906; Dalvé, 1948
Originally named Monticulipora (Heterotrypa) circularis. Includes Monticulipora lens James and James, 1888. and Calloporella harrisi Ulrich, 1883.
Disc-shaped, with rounded zooecia and numerous mesopores.
