Monotrypa

Monotrypa is laminate to hemispheroidal, with polygonal zooecia and clusters of large zooecia. Diaphragms are sparse and walls are undulatory.

Nickles and Bassler (1900) regard M. subglobosa as a synonym of M. turbinata (James, 1878).
