The Stratigraphy and Fossils of the Jurassic Sundance Seaway
Middle to Upper Jurassic marine rocks are exposed along the flanks of mountains across Wyoming and adjacent parts of South Dakota, Montana, and Idaho. These rocks are often abundantly fossiliferous, but typically have low diversity, and the preservation is highly variable.
This website documents the stratigraphy and reported fossil fauna from the marine Jurassic rocks of Wyoming and adjacent states.
